10.30am - 2.30pm
Do you know your beech from your birch or hazel from holly? Come and spend a fun day finding out all about the trees at Stanmer Park, what their wood was used for and how they are an important wildlife habitat.
Suitable for ages 6-11 yrs. Parents/carers should not accompany children.
Meet on the green between Stanmer House and Church
Please bring a packed lunch and drink. Children should be suitably dressed for the weather conditions on the day.
Not suitable for wheelchairs or those with compromised mobility
Toilets in Stanmer village.
Buses numbered 28 and 29 stop at entrance to the park on A27. Nearest mainline station; Falmer. One mile walk to meeting place from main road
